The Conjurer's Accessory Bundle

and a Shipping Update

People have been asking us when they can order the mass market edition and, particularly, if they can still get it in time to give as a Christmas, Kwanzaa, Solstice, or New Year's present*. We wish that was possible, but the mass market edition is still a ways out. In the meantime, we have something you might like.

The Accessory Bundle — Between now and December 31st, we're offering a special deal for backers on a Conjurer's Almanaq Accessory Bundle, which includes The Morgue, the Decoy Brochure, and the Conjurer's Artifact. This holiday bundle is $1 less than the combined Kickstarter pricing, and we're tossing in a Librarian's Artifact as well. This is a great set to give somebody if you're planning to give them the mass market edition when it comes out in January, at which time we'll also debut a more complete online store with the post-Kickstarter pricing.

We can't absolutely guarantee delivery by Christmas, but we'll do our best to get orders out in a timely fashion (and we're using all USPS shipping this time). Orders received before 11:00 AM Pacific Time will be shipped the same day. Note: This may not be true the first day while we get the systems working, and if we can push back the cutoff time, we will.

If you're interested, head on over to http://www.almanaq.com/bundle to order. Note that quantities are limited.

Shipping Update — More than 94% of you have received your copies of The Conjurer's Almanaq. While that's great, it means that almost 6% of you haven't yet, and all of them should have been delivered by now. While we have no control over what happens when we hand over packages, we can tell you what we know.

  • USPS Priority Mail — It appears that a number of packages did not leave the Seattle sorting facility last week and are now scheduled for delivery Wednesday through Thursday of this week.
  • FedEx SmartPost — For some unknown reason, some packages traveling as few as 5 miles from the FedEx Ship Center are not scheduled to be delivered until Thursday, 8 days after we delivered them to FedEx. We don't understand this but are guessing it's because of the millions of holiday packages from Amazon and the like.
  • FedEx International — A few packages have been held up in customs. For the others, after two delivery attempts, the package is held for pickup. Five days after that, packages get sent back to us, we get charged for the return, and then we have to pay to ship it again, effectively tripling the shipping cost. So, if your package is held for pickup, please get it before the deadline.

Good luck escaping!

* Truth be told, nobody actually asked about Solstice or New Year's, and Hanukkah ended a week ago. Whatever holidays you celebrate, we hope they're good ones.
