Remember when we said we'd start shipping tomorrow, December 14th? Well, we just dropped off the very last packages* at the Post Office. It was our sixth minivan load but the smallest. When we combined the ton of books, The Morgue, maps, artifacts, and let's not forget the boxes, we topped 3,000 pounds worth of packages. Fortunately, the invisible ink we used to sign books didn't weigh much.
Now It's Your Turn. To escape, that is. We are really, really looking forward to hearing about your experiences!
Shipping and Notifications. The notifications are automated. If you haven't yet gotten a notification, you might be in the last batch, and notifications can take a few hours to arrive after dropoff. If you haven't gotten a notification, please check your Spam folder and hold off contacting us until Friday (if you already emailed us just asking about your notification, we haven't responded and will wait until Friday to see if you contact us again).
Our shipping order changed slightly — we realized it would be much faster to prioritize by package size and shipping method, and then geography. We cut off about two days this way, and made half as many trips to the Post Office and FedEx.
There are a very few people to whom we haven't yet shipped. If you paid and never gave us your address, we need your address (email it to us at almanaq@almanaq.com). We'll save your book for you. If you pledged but didn't pay or your credit card failed, we need you to pay or cancel. For now, we have a book set aside for you. Since we have closed down BackerKit, you'll have to email us your address and pay any remaining balance with PayPal.
What's in the Box. Because there's a lot in the box (and we know some of you have ordered extra copies as gifts), we want to clarify what a full set is.

Not counting the Personalized books, which were all unique boxes, there were 55 different box configurations! We're pretty sure we got everything right, but if we made a mistake and left anything out, please let us know!
