Click here if some of the images for the Opening Puzzle are too light to see clearly.
NOTE: Recently, the printers have been misprinting some copies of The Librarian’s Almanaq,
causing some of the images necessary for the Opening Puzzle to be very light or invisible.
If you've received such a book, we're really sorry for the inconvenience it's causing you.
Since we never see the books, we don't know when it happens and there's nothing we can do about the printing.
We are working on an update to the book which will make the art on those pages darker as a way to circumvent the problem.
In the meantime, both printers (Amazon's CreateSpace and IngramSpark) have acknowledged that it is their problem
and they will replace any misprinted copies. Because that may be inconvenient for you, we have prepared a page map
that you can download and use to fix your copy. The page map shows all 64 pages you need to tear out,
along with their page numbers, which is a slight spoiler (sorry about that!). If your pages have light images
or you can't find all 64 pages for the Opening Puzzle, you should tear out the pages shown in the page map
and then use it to fill in any missing artwork on the Opening Puzzle pages (you will probably need to zoom in
to see the images clearly). To the best of our knowledge, no other puzzle in the book is affected by these printing problems.
Again, sorry for the inconvenience.
